The technology of the LCP16 consists of a real-time radiometric scanner, a scanner that graphically represents millimeter electromagnetic wave energy, an integrated mobile camera, onboard computer, and sophisticated intelligent video equipment. With the detection capabilities of the LCP16, security personnel can precisely identify concealed objects without cumbersome and time-consuming physical searches.
Virtual body searches are made possible remotely without direct contact. The LCP16 offers an efficient way to manage thefts and thus limit unknown shrinkage.
The passive radiometry scanner system can detect hidden objects by distinguishing millimeter waves from naturally emitted energy by the human body and from hidden objects, even under clothing. This is done without emitting radiation onto subjects. Used alone, it is a safe, discreet control solution that does not induce claustrophobia. Furthermore, the millimeter waves of the LCP16 do not reveal anatomical details, thus preserving privacy.
