- Active Area: 180 µm
- TTL Output
- Optional FC Connector
- Single Power Supply at +5V
Excelitas Technologies’ SPCM AQRH photon counters are designed to quantify very low light signals in the wavelength range of 400 to 1100 nm. They are distinguished by high quantum efficiency, often surpassing the performance of photomultiplier tubes. Each module utilizes a silicon avalanche photodiode with a 180 µm diameter active area, ensuring uniform quantum efficiency of over 65% at 650 nm across the entire active surface.
- Output in TTL pulses collected via BNC connectors at the rear of the module.
- Temperature-regulated photodiode for stable performance from 5°C to 70°C ambient temperature variations.
- Dead time reduced to less than 25 ns for improved linearity and dynamic range.
- Counting rate up to 40 million counts per second (SPCM-AQRH-WX).
- Built-in protection against photodiode overexposure to light.
- Available in free space output or with FC adapter, as well as a version with improved temporal resolution (SPCM-AQRH-WX-TR).
