Light therapy imitates the therapeutic properties of the Sun by restoring the biological clock, contributing to the treatment of seasonal depression. Dynamic phototherapy (PDT) is a treatment intended to destroy pathological tissues, based on the activation of a photosensitizing substance by mono- or polychromatic radiation. The selectivity of PDT is based on the concentration of this substance in cells distinct from normal cells due to their metabolic or proliferative state.
