The Model 4906AB is an affordable alpha and beta contamination monitoring system designed to examine the hands and feet of personnel. Featuring a spacious color LCD screen, this tool provides a user-friendly presentation of system status and alerts to possible contamination.

 

The system is equipped with six gas flow proportional type detectors, with metering activated by optical switches. Alerts are signaled locally and can be reinforced with optional relays to notify remote devices or by using a top mounted tower light. Thanks to an integrated Ethernet interface, it is possible to connect to the network to centralize metering data and monitor the status remotely.

 

All maintenance operations can be performed from the front of the instrument. Access to detectors, for quick replacement or repair, is simplified with hinged top covers. In addition, the unit has wheels at the rear to facilitate moving the instrument from place to place.
