Minimize background noise and allow for very high sensitivity counting
The D6000M multi-detector α-β counter is a modular instrument designed for high sensitivity counting, accommodating up to 24 detectors across 1 to 4 levels. Each level contains 5 drawers with 2 detectors each, providing flexibility in system configuration. The D6000M minimizes background noise through a cosmic ray detector and 10 cm lead shielding.
Advantages
- From 6 to 24 gas proportional detectors
- Modes: Alpha, Beta, Alpha then Beta, Alpha and Beta
- Independent monitoring of P10 gas flow with Gas-Pro
- Independent control and conversion of gas for each detector
The α-β multi-detector counter D6000M is a modular instrument designed around 1 to 4 levels. Each level has 5 drawers, each containing 2 detectors. Thus, the user can configure a system with 6, 12, 18, or 24 detectors.
The D6000M has been designed to minimize background noise and allow for very high sensitivity counting – it is equipped with a cosmic ray detector and a 10 cm lead shielding.
The D6000M system is designed to optimize a large number of measurements within a limited floor space (81×64 cm). The web interface allows for independence from Windows updates or computer obsolescence. The Mylar window, with a thickness of 80 µg/cm², is easily replaceable. Plate reading via RFID enables the storage of sample type, measurement protocol, and results.
