Proteon Egg is an ELISA test for the detection of egg, based on the binding of ovalbumin present in samples or standards to a specific antibody immobilized on the surface of wells. This specific binding can later be visualized by applying an enzyme-antibody conjugate. The enzyme will react with a specific substrate, leading to color development. The amount of ovalbumin in the sample or standard will be directly proportional to the intensity of color in the final product.

Proteon Milk is an ELISA test for the detection of milk, based on the binding of β-lactoglobulin present in samples or standards to a specific antibody immobilized on the surface of wells. This specific binding can later be visualized by applying an enzyme-antibody conjugate. The enzyme will react with a specific substrate, leading to color development. The amount of β-lactoglobulin in the sample or standard will be directly proportional to the intensity of color in the final product.

 

Proteon Egg:

  • Detection limit: 0.05 ppm of egg powder.
  • Quantification limit: 0.18 ppm of egg powder.
  • Test duration: 90 min.

Proteon Egg 30:

  • Detection limit: 0.13 ppm of egg powder.
  • Quantification limit: 0.45 ppm of egg powder.
  • Test duration: 30 min.

For Soybean Test:

  • Detection limit: 0.03 ppm of β-conglycinin; equivalent to 0.09 ppm of soy protein.
  • Quantification limit: 0.06 ppm of β-conglycinin; equivalent to 0.19 ppm of soy protein.
  • Test duration: 90 min.

For Milk Test:

Protein milk:
