Raman spectrometer

If the IR or UV-Visible spectrometry is based on the absorption of a compound from the energy emitted by a polychromatic source, the Raman spectrometry measures the photons diffused at different wavelengths from a monochromatic source. This technique is more and more popular because of it’s combined advantages of the IR spectrometer (detailed spectrum very distinctive of the component), and the NIR with the possibility to work in situ (measurement through glass bottles or reactors windows), avoiding the need for sample preparation. These advantages make it a perfect technology for quality control because it is fast and accurate. It is perfectly suitable for research thanks to its complimentary to the other techniques. Our RAMAN spectrometers exists in standard , microscope or portable version. For more details and an adaptation of our offer to your problematic contact us.
