Advantages
The Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization (APCI) technique of IonSense® DART involves directing ionized and heated gas towards a target positioned between the DART interface and the QDa Mass Detector. This technique enables ionization of molecules present on the surface of solids, liquids, or gases, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The Dart QDA system requires minimal sample preparation, allowing for the generation of mass spectra in no time: this enables instant decision-making based on the results obtained.
The LiveID software integrates with the DART (Direct Analysis in Real Time) source using Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization (APCI) for desorption. It also supports Electrospray Ionization (ESI) via the orthogonal dual ZSpray interface, known for its high performance and robustness without requiring adjustments.
