QuantStudio 6/7 Real-Time PCR

The Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 6 and 7 Pro real-time PCR systems offer enhanced flexibility to support various applications and throughput requirements. These systems feature intelligent functionalities designed to minimize contamination by enabling hands-free operation setup. Plan and monitor your runs from a mobile device, configure experiments, analyze data, and share results from any location with a computer.

The 96-well blocks of the QuantStudio 6 and 7 Pro systems integrate VeriFlex technology for precise temperature control. These blocks are divided into isolated zones that allow different cycling conditions within the same run, ideal for optimization. You can also increase throughput with interchangeable blocks that accommodate 96-well 0.2 mL, 96-well 0.1 mL, 384-well blocks, and TaqMan Array cards (QuantStudio 7 Pro model only). Other unique features of the QuantStudio 7 Pro system include automation compatibility and software functionalities to support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Many of these features can be added to the QuantStudio 6 Pro system through upgrades to meet evolving laboratory requirements.

• Filter or Color Combinations: QuantStudio 6 has 5 filters, while QuantStudio 7 offers 21 combinations.
• Excitation/Detection Range: Both systems cover 450-680 nm for excitation and 500-730 nm for detection.
• Multiplexing: They both support multiplexing up to 5 or 6 targets.
• Max Block Ramp Rate: Similar ramp rates for 96-well 0.1 mL blocks (up to 9.0°C/sec), 0.2 mL blocks (up to 6.5°C/sec), and 384-well blocks (up to 6.0°C/sec). QuantStudio 7 has a faster rate (up to 3.0°C/sec) for TaqMan Array Cards.
