ATTUNE™ CYTPIX flow cytometer
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Enhanced flow cytometer with imaging capabilities, allowing simultaneous analysis of morphology and flow data.
The Attune CytPix Flow Cytometer combines acoustic focusing with a high-speed brightfield camera for simultaneous high-throughput flow cytometry and high-resolution brightfield imaging.
Advantages
- Confirm real-time accuracy: Use images to adjust gates and camera settings, excluding atypical cells and debris for robust triggering.
- Further characterize cell populations: Document morphologically distinct populations in existing protocols such as apoptosis detection.
- Capture cell-to-cell interactions: Visualize and differentiate coincident events.
- Visualize structural features of large populations: Utilize detailed photographic evidence at high throughput.
- Explore analysis opportunities: Based on fluorescence, scatter, and morphological characteristics.
- Measure derived image parameters: Utilize the image analysis function of Attune Cytometric Software 6.0.
- High-throughput quality control: Quickly detect quality issues by integrating rapid imaging into cell culture QC workflows and monitor changes in cell morphology as plates are processed.
The Attune CytPix flow cytometer is an advanced cell analyzer that shares common features with the Attune NxT model.
Its distinctive feature is a high-speed brightfield camera that captures images of individual events as they pass through the flow cell. The camera and Attune cytometry software help ensure that the events being analyzed are single cells, rather than doublets, clusters, or debris. This is critical in research applications such as cell therapy and gene therapy, but it is valuable in almost all flow cytometry experiments to aid researchers in understanding the morphology of each identified cell population for analysis. Images can also assist in identifying debris and optimizing protocols.
