Flexibility and performance at your fingertips, regardless of matrix, interference, or particle size.

Its unique three-quadrant design, coupled with innovative and proven technologies, including the second-generation triple cone interface with OmniRing™, combine to deliver exceptional sensitivity, superior interference removal, excellent stability, unmatched matrix tolerance, and high throughput/uptime.

Advantages

  • Three Quadrupoles:

    • The Quadrupole Ion Deflector (Q0) directs ions towards the Universal Cell (Q1) with varying voltages, maximizing the sensitivity of target ions while reducing unwanted masses.
    • The Quadrupole Universal Cell (Q1) uses up to three gases with on-the-fly gas mixing capabilities for Collision or Reaction modes. The unique quadrupole cell is enhanced by dynamic bandpass tuning, preventing reaction byproducts from interfering with target analytes.
    • The Transmission Quadrupole Analyzer (Q2) (full-size for mass resolution < 0.7 amu) acts as a mass filter or ion guide, directing ions towards the detector.

The second-generation triple cone interface with patent-pending OmniRing™ technology offers unprecedented flexibility to handle a variety of applications without needing different inserts or lenses, as required by other commercial ICP-MS systems, allowing three modes of operation as needed.

The exclusive Extended Dynamic Range (EDR) increases the linear dynamic range to 10^14, enabling the analysis of high and low concentration analytes in a single run, resulting in fewer reanalyses.

The powerful All Matrix Solution (AMS) allows for online gas dilution, improving efficiency and preventing contamination, offering dilution up to 200 times and the ability to support samples containing up to 35% total dissolved solids.
